Down syndrome walk set for Oct. 11

The annual Central Mississippi Down Syndrome Society Buddy Walk begins with registration at 9 a.m. Oct. 11 at Winner’s Circle Park in Flowood.

Opening ceremonies, with mistress of ceremonies Maggie Wade, and the walk are at 10 a.m. Supporters are asked to walk in honor of loved ones with Down syndrome. Highlights include entertainment by the Mustard Seed Bells of Faith handbell choir, door prizes and a wide variety of family friendly activities.
