We are a home-based business established to meet an obvious need for music for small groups of ringers who had not yet developed ensemble ringing skills or had no interest in learning this skill.

Each fall I offered a six-week training introduction to ringing at my church. Although I had created successful materials for building basic skills, these full choir arrangements were not musically satisfying for a few ringers; this challenged my husband to write several short, easy selections for the specific number of ringers in that year’s group.

At that same time I noticed several requests on Handbell-L for easy music for small groups because the standard ensemble music was too difficult for less experienced ringers. This need prompted us to start our own publishing company in October or 2003. John is the creative half of the team; I am the editor, secretary, business manager, and webmaster.

As you can see from our website, we have expanded to include music for full choirs and have launched a special series for people who cannot read music; we have plans to release my method book in 2009.
