On Sunday, April 5th (Palm Sunday) at 4:00 pm, the Detroit Handbell Ensemble, under the artistic direction of Susan Berry, will be joined by internationally known composer, organist and hymn festival leader Dr. Michael Burkhardt for an afternoon of music meant to celebrate Palm Sunday and reflect on the events of the coming Holy Week.  More than simply a concert, the program will feature bells, organ, brass and audience singing interspersed with thematic readings.
