Repost from Handbell-l

The International Music Camp, Summer School of Fine Arts presents:

The 30th Annual Handbell Workshop

July 5 – 11, 2009

Location:

The International Music Camp at the International Peace Gardens

On the border between North Dakota and Manitoba

And yes, this year, you will need your passports to re-enter the United

States.

Instructors for this years’ week of handbell instruction:

David Ruder from Sunnyvale, California

and

Monica S. McGowan from Lakeville, Minnesota

The regular fee for the week’s instruction, food AND housing is only $

340.00 (USD)

Should registrant numbers increase, we’ll be able to add another faculty

person.  So, give serious consideration to attending this week of Handbell

Camp.  Join the hundreds of handbell ringers and directors who have ventured

north to the International Peace Gardens to attend a week of camp:  ringing,

skill building, new friends, old acquaintances, friends from the US and

Canada, repertoire reading sessions, ringing, and lots of learning in a

great location!  There’s always something new to learn and experiences to

share!

Every Friday evening at the International Music Camp, there is a Guest

Artist’s Concert.  This year’s Guest Artist for Friday, July 10 is:

Twin Cities Bronze

Concert is at 8:00 p.m.
