The Capital City Ringers, under the direction of Jane C. Wright, will be in concert at St. Paul United Church of Christ, 200 N. Main St., Waterloo IL on Saturday, April 25 at 7:00 PM. Their 25th anniversary Spring 2009 scripted program is entitled, “On Tour with CCR.”  A variety of music selections include The Ball, a classical piece for orchestra by Bizet, Under the Sea from “The Little Mermaid,” In the Mood, the famous Big Band number, and other familiar hymn tunes, classical pieces and original works for handbells.  There’s something for everyone!  In addition to more than 145 Malmark handbells and handchimes, CCR’s concert includes bass guitar and a variety of percussion instruments.  Don’t miss this opportunity to hear them “LIVE”!  The comment most often heard by those who hear CCR is:  “I never knew bells could do that!”  A freewill offering will be taken.
