Handbell auditions scheduled

Heartland Handbells will hold auditions for new ringers from 7 to 9 p.m. Aug. 31 at the First Presbyterian Church at 2300 S. West Ave. in Sioux Falls.

Ringers must have previous experience with handbells and be able to demonstrate basic musicianship and handbell skills.

Heartland Handbells is a community-based ensemble made up of 13 auditioned players. The group rehearses Monday evenings during the school year.
