I am a bit late in posting this. My choir and another choir from Regester Chapel UMC will be doing a combined choirs concert on Saturday, March 20, 4:00 PM at the Regester Chapel UMC, 85 Bells Hill Road ( just off Route 1) in Stafford, VA.
I met Linda Biscardo, director of the Regester Handbell Choirs at the Area III Festival in Richmond last year and we percolated this event through the summer and decided to try it.
 
We will be doing the repertoire for the 2010 Area III Hampton Festival as a combined choir and each choir will do several individual pieces. This is the first event of this type in our area that we know of and hope that it will start a new trend in this part of Northern Virginia.
 
If you are in the Stafford area on Saturday afternoon, please come and listen to the music. We will have light refreshments following the concert.
