Alphabet Soup
Virginia Bronze in concert on March 20 at 3pm

Alphabet soup is a comfort food for most of us. Fishing around in the bowl to see how many letters you can find floating is always fun. The music for this concert was selected by last names of composers who fit the letters of "Alphabet Soup". The list includes such well-known names as Brahms, Purcell, Tchaikovsky, Stravinsky, Liszt, Holst and Ellington. However, don't be surprised to hear works by Albeniz, Auber, Offenbach, Underwood and Payn to round out the program. Familiar and new-to-you tunes combine to make this a hearty stew!

Please note that our season brochure incorrectly listed this concert on March 6.
